Production Area: Campania. Our Limoncello is obtained exclusively from the traditional recipe of infusing the peel of the "Sfusato" Amalfitano, the precious IGP lemon that is typical of the Costa D'Amalfi. As all top-quality products, the Casa Russo Limoncello originates from the selection of its principal ingredient: the lemon. The lemon trees of the old Russo distillery are located in Amalfi, where the meeting of the mountain and sea air and the warm Mediterranean sun contributes to creating a unique micro climate that favours the growth of the Sfusato Amalfitano. The Sfusato Amalfitano has no pips and distinguishes itself through its size and its thick rind, rich in highly aromatic essential oils. It was using the rind of this particular type of lemon that, during the last century, production of the first lemon liqueur began. Excellent straight, on the rocks, or as the basis for a cocktail.
